Blooming Marvellous
It’s nearly March so it’s time to look at some florals which still continue to be a huge trend for the season ahead. A floral printed dress is really a wardrobe staple and if you choose your print carefully it can be a versatile piece you wear year round.
Here are my top picks:
Graphic Poppy Maxi Dress £165 Jigsaw
The black in the print makes this a perfect option to wear now with black boots but you can easily swap this for white trainers/boots and then into sandals for the summer. Layer thermals underneath or a roll neck and pop over a biker or coat.
I absolutely love this print which is so easy to wear with black, white or red boots, court shoes or trainers.
A ditsy floral print is a very easy-wear and this one is in a midnight navy which makes it softer to wear than a black based print. You can pair with tan boots if blue and black isn’t your thing.
Sometimes it doesn’t work layering underneath, so pop a sweater over the top to make a different outfit which this gorgeous print. It’s selling fast so hurry if you want one! This also comes in a shorter style – Emanuelle Dress if midi isn’t your thing.
Livia Belted Midi £69 Warehouse
It’s easy to see why this is selling out already – it’s a great print you can wear now and into the summer. Wear a sweater over the top now and cross your fingers for warmer weather arriving pronto!
Floral Print Midi Dress £55 Oasis
In the same way as the Jigsaw style, this has the benefit of black to ground it through the winter but the freshness of the white in the print to make it work perfectly through the spring and summer too.
Rose Print Midi Dress £48 Oasis
Toughen up your look with chunky boots or go classic with a knee high or ankle boot.
Rose Tiered Midi Dress £38.40 Oasis
With 20% off, this is a goodie.
Floral Waisted Midi Dress £29.50 M&S
Wear with a belt to define your waist.
And if you are after something less fitted, the buffet dress is here to answer your prayers. This comes in several prints, but these are my favourite.
Same print but different style – more sass here with the leg split.
So from ditsy to graphic with mid scale in between, there is a bouquet for everyone this season.
