Fresh Florals

Nothing says spring like a floral print so for this week, as we inch closer to spring and normal life (fingers crossed) I thought I would do a little floral edit to brighten up the week. I love a floral print and here are a couple I have been wearing recently – although I do have an awful lot more in my wardrobe. A floral print with a black base to it is always great as you can very easily anchor this with black accessories and tights most importantly for the winter months. Then swap for denim jackets, trainers and sandals or espadrilles as soon as spring/summer hits. Even better is a floral skirt with lots of different colours in it as then you have lots of different options to put on the top. To see how I have styled this New Look skirt and show you it’s versatility, you can watch this little video talking through the key pieces you need to make a printed skirt work.   Tops  Evelyn Top £32 Watson & White Oh so pretty with a lurex stripe running through the chiffon. Love it with denim, Zoom calls or days back in the office. Love and Roses Shirred Hem Lace Blouse £49 Next This is a new brand which next has recently started stocking and one that is definitely worth looking at. Ninon Floral Blouse £45 Marie & Lola Just love the blues and the laddering detail on this spring fresh blouse. Bianca Blouse £99 Baukjen This is made with Lenzing Ecovero viscose and so is a eco-friendly and sustainable fashion choice. Do check out Baukjen as their collection is not only gorgeous, but also is gives you fashion with a conscience. Anoushka Chiffon Blouse £59 Hush Perfect for everyday, Zoom calls, date night and much more. Dresses Celina 70s Ditsy Print Dress £325 Wyse Such a gorgeous dress from this fab, London-based brand. Bianca Dress £149 Baukjen  A relaxed, tiered number you can dress down with trainers or up with boots or heeled sandals. Another one you can anchor very easily with black boots and leather jacket. Lizette Dress £120 White Coco Oh so pretty, I love this whimsical, ditsy printed dress but you can still wear now with camel boots and coat. 3/4 Sleeve Kensington Dress £79 Hush Hush’s best-selling Kensington dress is back in a lovely floral print. A black based floral is always going to be a versatile piece as it can be worn year round with black tights and boots in the winter and then with trainers or sandals in the spring/summer. It also comes in a floral/animal combo which is gorgeous. There is a lot of fabric in the skirt of this dress, so one to size down with. Penelope Tiered Dress £69 Hush A stunning print you can do a lot with all year round. Try layering a roll neck underneath now or a sweater over the top and popping some chunky boots on your feet. Lucia Maxi Dress £62 Marie & Lola Here’s a close up as I just love the gold flecks in this print – subtle enough for everyday but perfect for nights out – when they happen! Bella Dress £59 Marie & Lola Love the styling here with a cardi and boots to make this work now. Add a belt to cinch in your waist. Love and Roses Floral Mesh Midi Dress £48 Next Floral Dress £49.99 Zara  Green Ditsy Floral Puff Sleeve Dress £22.99 New Look Try wearing this with a cream sweater over the top now and light coloured camel/tan or cream boots.   Skirts Santana Printed Midi Skirt £49 Hush A versatile option you can wear with black or white. Derwyn Printed Wrap £65 Hush I love the pink and red mix of this print. It screams summer and holidays!! Branwen Maxi Skirt £75 Hush I would be wearing this now with a light coloured sweater and tan boots. Or you can pick out one of the colours in the print for some colour.
