The Sundress Edit

With another bank holiday weekend and half term (not that it makes much difference apart from the daily home schooling battles are just replaced with different ones instead) within touching distance, it has to be time to look at the sundress. Here’s the edit: minis and midis to maxis, strappy and short sleeved, plain, print and embroidered, there’s a whole host of options to choose from.

Herne Cotton Midi Dress £79 Hush

For a short option, this is very pretty.

Sacha Jacquard Tiered Tunic Dress £90 Anthropologie

A nice chuck on option if you’re after something loose-fitting.

Heavy Cotton Dress with Embroidery £90 Bricks and Stitches

This is single sized  and also comes in a pink and black.

Linen Blend Dress £24.99 H&M

This is a gorgeous, easy to wear sundress that comes in a number of prints as well as black and white. If you want to accentuate your waist, then just add a contrast belt to do so.

Strappy Midi Dress £49.99 Zara

Yes there’s a lot of lovely black dresses around this season.

Liely Ruffle Cotton Dress £99 Hush

This is a great and versatile piece that you can wear as here or with heels/wedges.

Cora Cotton Midi Dress £110 Boden

A simple style with stunning embroidery.

Cody Button Through Midi Dress £129 Whistles

If you are after a cleaner, more minimal looking style then this is lovely in either khaki or black. And if strappy styles are out because you need to wear a bra, then these wider strapped styles are perfect.

Buttons Cotton Dress £35.99 Mango

A similar style at a cheaper price point. Again good for hiding bra straps.

Anita Frill Sleeve Dress £119 Whistles

This comes in black, white and an animal print (which is sold out in a number of sizes) and is perfect if you want something to cover up your shoulders and arms.

Printed Dress £49.99 Zara

Sienna Jersey Maxi Dress £90 Boden

This comes in lots of different prints and plain colours, as well as petite and regular lengths.

Rochelle Eyelet Maxi dress £140 Anthropologie

This may be too milk-maidy for some but I love the romance and femininity of this which may, I grant you, be a touch too much for the park. But you’ve got to dream sometimes…

So which is the sundress you’re going to be wearing this summer?
