Think Pink
While Classic Blue may be the colour of Spring Summer 2020, I have got a bit of a crush on pink at the moment because it’s such an uplifting friend on dismal January days. And also because it’s a hard working chap which goes with all the usual neutral suspects no problem, but may also surprise you at how well it also works with some more surprising colour combos such as with camel, khaki, red, orange and itself when worn together in different tones.
Wearing colours definitely lifts your mood so if you’re in need of a pick me up, then pick up some pink:
Casey Balloon Sleeve Jumper £110 Hush
Together these are a super combo but if that’s all too much you can easily wear separately with denim/trousers/pleather joggers/other skirts or a gazillion other tops.
Theodora Pleated Skirt £85 Boden
This comes in petite and regular.
Pleated Satin Skirt £39.99 H&M
On the sweater front, there’s loads of gorgeousness out there:
Melanie Mohair Sweater £160 Wyse
Love the refresher-style colour combo.
Knitted Wool Blend Jumper £24.99 H&M
A snuggly oversized roll neck that will look fab with leather look leggings or skinnies and tucked into skirts etc.
Voila Applique Sweatshirt £55 Hush
Another goodie for pleather joggers/straight leg or boyfriend fit jeans or with midi skirts and trainers.
On the fitted knit front, Boden has lots to choose from, including these:
Suffolk Cotton Scallop Jumper £60 Boden
Lincoln Cotton Frill Jumper £75 Boden
The crop cardi is still a big deal this spring and there are several gorgeous options around, including these:
