Shopping is back!
Well not that it actually really went away as online shopping has been there to save us. But, if like me, you’ve missed the physical act of going to the shops for a spot of retail therapy, then this week’s opening of stores is an exciting and welcome milestone in the journey to normality.
However, the high street has been decimated. Topshop, Oasis, Warehouse, Debenhams to name but a few, have all been wiped out with the pandemic so what is left…?
Well, what is working is smaller, independent brands and boutiques that have adapted better to the changing face of the retail landscape. So for this week’s blog, I thought I would depart from my usual form to showcase a brand that I discovered last year and that works in a way that is not only great for you, the consumer, but also the planet.
Glassworks London has weekly drops of limited edition collections which means you won’t be bumping into other people wearing the same as you and, even better, there is not the end of season waste that mass production inevitably causes.
And with an exclusive discount code – quote CLAIRE15 to receive your 15% discount on all online orders – until 21st April, it’s the perfect way to celebrate the opening up of life.
Here is a selection of their collection but there is lots, lots more and I have linked the pieces below which are in stock.
Navy Silky Flare Pocket Skirt £80
White Embroidered Floral Blouse £75
Rainbow flecked Crop Jumper £60
Balloon Sleeve Angora Jumper £70
Worn with Ivory Wide Leg Trousers £90
And Cylinder Net Bucket Bag £36
You can see their entire collection here and see how it looks on a taller model!!
Happy Shopping!
