Bank Holiday Buffet

The Buffet Dress – the phenomenon that swept the fashion world last summer is here to stay and these loose fitting numbers are perfect for sunny lockdown days when what’s called for is an easy to wear dress that you can chuck on. Never mind the fact that they hide a whole multitude of eating, drinking and lack of exercise sins. A double win I would say. Keep it casual with flat sandals or trainers or when the time comes you can always pop on some espadrilles or sandals for a bit of going out glamour.

Here are several options to tempt…

Valenti Tiered Midi Dress £79 Hush

There is 10% off at Hush this Bank Holiday weekend so take advantage of the discounts.

Penelope Tiered Dress £69 Hush

This also comes in a khaki/black combo.

Isla Broderie Midi Dress £95 Hush

This is lovely if you aren’t after a print and has the benefit of sleeves so will be a versatile option.

Dress with cutwork Embroidery £49.99 Zara

A looky-likey here.

Pink Floral Midi Dress £69 Bricks and Stitches

These sell out quickly so strike while the iron is hot.

Charlize Dress 49 euros Not Madame

Lovely French brand that has just started shipping orders again.

Avner Printed Midi £65 Hush

If it’s a strappier style that you’re after then this will do the job. It comes in another floral print but I prefer this pink option.

Geo Print Frill Maxi Dress £195 ME+EM

A great print for the non-print lovers out there.

Loose Fitting Textured Dress £49.99 Zara

A white strappy dress in the summer – yes please. This is perfect to waft about in, unless of course you are weaning a baby with a penchant for blowing raspberries throughout her mealtimes. In which case avoid like the plague. Sad face for me.

Halterneck A Line Midi Dress £85 &Other Stories

This comes in black and orange which may be more practical colour choices. It will obviously require underwear consideration unless you pop over swimwear. Strapless bras would be a must so probably not a good one for the larger chested.
